Privacy

This website sets no cookies, doesn’t track visits and loads nothing from third-party servers. What data arises anyway is described here.

This is a translation. The German version is legally binding.

This policy applies to the konseq.pro website. Use of Konseq by companies is governed by the data processing agreement.

2. Visiting the website

The website runs on a server we rent from STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, and operate ourselves. The data centre is located in Germany.

When pages are requested, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, browser identifier and the browser’s language setting. The language setting is used only to open the start page in German or English. All of this serves solely to deliver the pages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The web server stores no access logs for this website.

A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

3. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content

The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools. Fonts, graphics and scripts are served from our own server; no data is transferred to third parties when you visit. The connection is TLS-encrypted.

4. Stored appearance

If you switch to dark mode, this choice is stored in your browser’s storage under the name “konseq-darstellung” so it applies on your next visit. It never leaves your device. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, as storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested. Switching back to light removes the entry.

5. Enquiries

If you write to us via the “Early access” form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, optionally company, size and message) to reply and to inform you about the launch of Konseq.

The form itself transmits no data: it prepares an email in your email program, which you send yourself.

Our mailbox is hosted by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. Processing outside the European Union cannot be ruled out; it is safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a possible contract is concerned, otherwise our legitimate interest in handling enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the details once the enquiry is fully handled and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.

7. Version

November 2026. We update this policy when the website or the legal situation changes.
